Yellow cells are inputs. Enter the start date and duration; the end date, weights, schedule, bars and S-curve are calculated. Each item's weight is spread over its working days using its distribution profile (linear, front-loaded, back-loaded or bell-shaped). Bars are drawn to the exact day. Predecessors use the row ID shown in the first column, for example 3, 5SS+2 or 7FF-1 (FS is the default; lag is in calendar days); an item with a predecessor takes its start date from the forward pass, and red bars are on the critical path (zero total float). The blue curve is the early-start plan, the dashed green curve is the late-start plan. Actual and revised accomplishment are entered as the percentage of the whole project gained in each period; slippage and SPI are measured at the status date. Duration in days counts working days once weekends, holidays or weather days are excluded; weeks and months stay calendar-based. Milestones appear as diamonds (solid = planned, hollow = actual).
